Cirandas III
(2004)

Artist book in installation format from a research based on violence of children in the U.S. and Brazil.

Silkscreen on the wall, graffiti, video in monitor and tape recorder. Size: site specific. Edition: 1/1

The series Cirandas was silkscreened directly on the walls as a unique and temporary artwork. In this way the artist avoided its commercialization of this subject of violence against children. It was done with the intent to protect children from commercialization.

Cirandas is a series of installations also presented as Cirandas I at Intar Gallery (USA), 1993 &
Cirandas II at Museu de Arte Conteporânea de São Paulo (Brazil), 1994.
